Iranak is a division (subsection, branch) of the Institute for Research on the History of Children’s Literature in Iran. It was launched in 2006 and entitled the Database for Children’s Literature and Culture in Iran. The aims and prospects of this virtual institution were revised after a period of outcome evaluation and thus from 2011, Iranak was divided into two sections: the database and a virtual museum. The aim of this separation was for each section to serve as the complementary feature of the other in order to better display the world of childhood.
